Probably the closest I will come to getting (or ever seeing) the real FF bat. Obtained in 2012 from a former visiting clubhouse attendant (bat boy) for the Yankees. Bat is game used (cracked). Louisville Slugger R161 Model. Same R161 type that was used for the FF. Initials 'BR' on the knob and signed by Billy after the game. Dates to about 2 weeks prior to the Fleer photo being taken in Boston. Can only dream of seeing the real FF.Unrelated, but a great book to read - 'Bat Boy' by Matthew McCough. Co-worker of the original owner of this bat! Great stories.
